Hello, can anyone advise me? I am a director of a company which has just been slapped with a huge costs bill following an injunction. This will be followed by a Hearing and no doubt further costs. We have only been open for 2 months but have no further money to pay our bills and have not made a sale yet. There are four directors but we are all liable for the costs individually and jointly. I own a car but have no other possessions of worth. I live with my partner who owns the house. My name is not on the house in anyway other than it being my address.

I have 28 days to pay a bill I cannot afford and if the bill is paid I will certainly be hit with further costs. I have no debt other than this but I'm considering going bankrupt. Will this make the debt go away? Will it prevent any further court costs? Will my partner's house be safe?

Please help. I have never been in debt before and I'm really worried.
