Hi

My husband is about to go bankrupt and we were looking at reasons why a bankruptcy petition may be rejected. If the disposable income is deemed as too high this is a reason but i wondered what would be considered as too high. If his income is £1250 and we have determined there may be about a £400 excess to pay towards a £27k debt will this be ok do you think?

Is there an upper limit of disposable income that they have that they can then reject a bankruptcy petition and ask you to do something else?
