Bailiffs knocking at my door, im already bankrupt?

Can anyone help??

I went bankrupt in April 2015 and I have Bailiff's knocking at my door at my new home demanding money from council tax in 2014? I have all the correspondence and ref numbers stating my debt is clear. Can they progress with this issue, even thou its before my Bankruptcy date?.
